A SmartPoint is a commercial grade powerpoint. A SmartPoint features the same 3-pin plug that you will find for any normal electrical appliance in Australia and New Zealand.
A SmartPoint features a metering device and communications module that measure the electrical current and reports the energy consumed to the cloud for monitoring and billing if required.

The Alchemy Charge SmartPoint is a Level 1 EV charger operating on standard 10A or 15A circuits – ideal for retrofitting underground car parks and multi-residential buildings.
It connects to an existing 10A power point using current wiring, slashing installation costs from thousands to just a couple of hundred AUD.

The Alchemy Charge SmartPoint is fully metered and OCPP-compliant, using the global standard protocol for EV charger communication.
It integrates seamlessly with billing platforms, enabling drivers to access and pay for charging while the strata body or site host receives the revenue directly.
CONNECTED
SmartPoint is WiFi enabled and requires a WiFi connection to operate. Where WiFi is not available, SmartPoint can be connected using RAPIDlink, a 4G cellular modem supplied by Alchemy Charge. RAPIDlink is priced at $249 and incurs an ongoing monthly data fee starting from $12 per month.
